The Door was taken in Palos Verdes, California. A beam of light shot through the clouds creating a portal, or a door, to somewhere else. I shot it using black and white 35mm film.

Nolan Trowe is a writer and multidisciplinary artist from California. His work has been published and recognized internationally. The most recent of his many honors is being a Light Work Artist in Residence. He's currently working on a memoir with St. Martin's publishing.
