"Dew", 2024 is an archival photographic print that makes visible the surrealistic atmosphere of the Florida swamps. The photograph depicts the morning dew settling into little spheres before the sunrise, shining in contrast to the clustered velvet leaves. "Dew", 2024 was first shown in my solo exhibition at Light Work "Mater si magistra no".

Nabil Harb is a Palestinian American photographer born and raised in Polk County,
Florida, where he still lives. Utilizing black and white, his photographs address the
overlapping and often conflicting historical and environmental layers of his hometown.
He works to locate the global forces that dictate the daily life of residents in Central
Florida through a sustained visual analysis of the landscape, shifting back and forth
between forensic and romantic perspectives of the scenes unfolding before him.
