Lucero Del Castillo Ames (1981) is an artist who lives and works in Lima. She holds a Master's degree in Anthropology from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (2021) and another in Contemporary Photography from the Centro de la Imagen (2018). She was selected as an artist-in-residence at Light Work (AIRs) 2025 and was a finalist for the PHmuseum Women Photographers Grant 2018. She co-authored the photobook, "Contrapunto" with Víctor Vich and directed the short film, "The Beginning of Terror".
She has participated in exhibitions in Peru, the United Kingdom and France and is a university professor at PUCP and UPC.
