Sayler/Morris work across media and scale to engage the ecological crisis and our relationship with the natural world. Their creative practice, seeks to deepen engagement with natural and social ecologies– defined not only as the relations between living things, but also as the relations between various histories, myths and ideas in a given place.

Susannah Sayler and Edward Morris (Sayler/Morris) are interdisciplinary artist whose work considers the intersection of human histories and ecological systems. They are 2023 Guggenheim fellows and co-founders of Toolshed, a platform for ecological thought + action and The Canary Project.
